The Ministry of Health joins the rest of the world in observing World Cancer Day on February 4th, 2012.

The Ministry of Health wishes to reassure the national community that there is no Dengue Fever outbreak. The Ministry of Health’s Insect Vector Control Division (IVCD) Victoria East/Nariva/Mayaro Office received a report of one (1) case of dengue on January 26th 2012.

The Honourable Dr. Fuad Khan, Minister of Health, would like to advise that with immediate effect, no Government of Trinidad and Tobago emergency ambulance, with their personnel, should abandon any patient in distress.

The Ministry of Health joins the rest of the world in observing World Leprosy Day on January 29, 2012.
